On the 30 of November 2020, the Dutch Research Council (NWO) announced that the Amsterdam Science Park Study Group was the happy co-granted winner of the “Team Science Award” . From the NWO brochure, it says that “the awards were created to reward researchers working in these fields, and to inspire others to do the same. The eleven winners will receive a total of €350,000 in prize money.”
This award will serve us to improve the data- and code-related skills of the Study Group members as well as to support training and software activities of our community.
Like Fokkens (VENI postdoctoral fellow) and Marc Galland (support data analyst, community lead) performed a short interview together with the other co-winner of the grant to explain the impact of this grant on the Study Group community.
